Your Questions Answered-Update May 09

1) How do I find an available property?

When you visit the display location in Secondlife you will see vendors showing available homes.Touch the picture of a property you like and you will receive an information notecard and a landmark to visit the property.

2) I would love to rent here, how do I begin renting?

At the property is a small rentalbox that displays the price per week and the prims allowed. Right click the box and choose pay, you can then pay for 1 or more weeks. The box will change to say rented and your name and time remaining will be displayed. You can touch the box anytime to see your time remaining. You will also receive a link to the property information website that explains all the extra features of the home you have rented.

3) Can I rent longer? and can my partner pay for me?

Yes and yes.. each time you/a friend or partner pay the rentalbox the extra time will be added and displayed above the box. There is not limit to the time you can rent. For long term renting contact me for available discounts.

4) When I place items in my home they keep disappearing ! Whats wrong?

When you pay the rentalbox our rentalbot will automatically send you a group invite for you to join. You need to have this group active (Showing above you) while placing items, otherwise they are autoreturned to your inventory, this prevents any clutter from messing up the land (eg. from grievers). If your partner or friends want to place things, have them join the group or IM me their names to send invites to.

5) I see another home vacant, can I move into it?

Yes... That's 1 option not many other companies offer. If another home belonging to SkyView Home Rentals is vacant that you like just contact me as soon as you can with the name of the home before someone else rents it. I will transfer your remaining time paid for to the new home, and you may move in. If there is a difference in price I will contact you about adding extra days for you or paying any difference if its more expensive.

6) Is there anything I cant do or have in my home?

The only thing is to respect your neighbours and their privacy. You may have parties if you like, you can even post your events in the Secondlife Events Listings. You may have what you like in your home (Adult content is fine provided your windows are tinted). These islands have no commercial activity, So selling or setting up shop is not allowed.

7) I like privacy and need a home as a getaway retreat can you help?

I have special options for those that require a safe house for whatever reason, be it to avoid grievers, harassment or Alt accounts, beyond the security features currently provided.

8) When I rent this home where can I get help with the house options?

When you pay the rentalbox and begin renting you will receive a website link. Open this in your browser and save it in your bookmarks. This site is only given to new tenants and explains all the features of the property you just rented including support contact names.

9) When I chat in the home to friends can my neighbours hear?

No, all homes are spaced beyond the distance local chat travels(20mtrs) so there is no need to IM visitors in your home.

Buying Land Questions..

You Sell Land?

Yes, I have just 1 island with parcels available to buy..but they are rarely vacant.

Why is the land just 1L to buy?

Once you buy the land it transfers to you as the owner with full landowner access rights so you can build, add media, set name, set access permissions and more.

How do I pay tier?

Tier is paid to the rentalbox located on your parcel. The amount is displayed above it along with the total prims the parcel supports. Tier is paid monthly and the first month must be paid when you buy the land.

To be continued.
